Black Coffee CEED Foundation has been formed as a tax-exempt (pending*) organization, as defined by section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions in accordance with Code section 170. Gifts to Black Coffee CEED Foundation will be a tax-deductible donation to the full extent provided by law.

*Black Coffee CEED Foundation has applied for 501(c)(3) public charity status. The CEED Foundation’s 501(c)(3) status is currently pending approval, subject to IRS’ discretion. Upon approval, donations received while its application was pending may be treated as tax-deductible contributions retroactive to the date of its formation. https://www.irs.gov/charities-non-profits/charitable-organizations/contributions-to-organization-with-irs-application-pending. Upon the IRS determination, the CEED Foundation will follow up to inform all donors whether or not 501(c)(3) public charity status has been approved and provide updated documentation for tax purposes as needed.
